Diamond Powder and Diamond Paste: The Enhancer of Diamonds


The hardest and one of the most beautiful things on earth is undoubtly diamond, which is incomplete without Diamond powder, also referred as “super-abrasive.’’ This is because the hardness of diamond is completey on a different level when compared to sand and other abrasive materials. This extra ordinary powder is used in cutting, polishing and grinding materials, that would have been otherwise very tuff to work with.  It is used to cut and grind materials like glass, tiles, ceramic, and some other gemstones. In order to cut some materials, this special powder is mixed with materials like saw, which lets effective grinding or even cutting.
It is a fact that diamonds found in the purest form are not spectacular. It definately requires cutting and polishing. Diamonds, which is the hardest stone known to man, can only be polished and grinded by this exceptional powder. The real glow of diamonds can only come by the application of this powder.
Diamonds are used in making different types of accessories and jeweleries. They are also used in making diamond paste. This paste is extensively used for equipments and finishing metal tools. As diamonds are the hardest known thing to man, it is useful for producing paste for treating equipments and metal tools. In order to treat sharp metal tools for making it edgy and shiny, the paste is made up with the assistance of high-grade lubricants. There is a wide range of pastes available in the market offered by various companies. A few parameters need to be followed while making a high quality paste. Unless the paste is of great quality, the result will not be satisfactory.
